COMPANY PROFILE

It’s Ajubatus Safaris mission to provide our customers with a unique and highly personal safari experience, offering memories for a lifetime and with a positive long-term impact on the environment and local communities we are privileged to visit together. We travel with our customers to the most beautiful places in Tanzania; from the world-famous Serengeti plains and Ngorongoro Crater, to some of the hidden pearls of the country, such as the Glau Waterfall near Dareda or Kwaraa Mountain near Lake Babati, which offer superb hiking opportunities.

WHAT WE DO

Our company organizes private safari tours with highly experienced and passionate Driver Guides, born and raised in Tanzania. All our safaris are fully custom-made, and completely tailored to our guests’ preferences and budget. We’re flexible too. If you want to change something during your safari, we’ll do all that we can to make it happen. Ajubatus Safaris’ services are available throughout Tanzania, with a focus on the Northern and Southern safari circuits, and Zanzibar.

We are a registered and licensed company located in Arusha, Tanzania, providing top level safaris, travel planning, transport, and driver guide services in the country’s safari industry. We are a team of professional and experienced adventure enthusiasts who love everything about Tanzania. We know our country by heart, and we have up to date firsthand information on the best destinations and accommodations available for our esteemed customers.

HOW WE DO IT

Ajubatus Safaris aims to stand out from many other safari companies and offers fully custom-made travel advice on itineraries, bookings, and first-class transportation with a suitable safari vehicle, including the services of an excellent & knowledgeable local Driver Guide with years of experience in the Tanzanian safari industry. We provide our professional guides ongoing training to ensure they have the top certifications and knowledge in their field.

We are able to provide a fully personalized service at a range of different prices – from budget to high-end luxury safaris. Perhaps you are in Tanzania on business or as an NGO volunteer and only have limited time to explore. We offer fantastic two- or three-day (budget) safaris as well.

ABOUT OUR NAME

Ajubatus is an acronym for Acinonyx Jubatus, the Latin name for cheetah, one of the most appealing members of the big cats family. It is the fastest land animal and can run up to more than 110 kilometers per hour for a short time. This member of the big cats family breeds throughout the year and usually gives birth to three to five cubs. As guest of Ajubatus Safaris, you will be able to witness the cheetah who can be found in various of the National Parks of Tanzania. Cheetahs usually hunt in the early morning or late evening.
