The decision where to travel in Tanzania will depend on the time of the year you are considering travelling. If you want to travel between December and June, then the Northern Circuit is the best destination to choose. The Southern Circuit offers less superb opportunities in this time of the year. If you are looking at travelling between July and November, then you have the whole country to choose from and your destination choice can be tailored to the style of safari you want to experience.

When you have never visited Tanzania before, we can imagine that the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater will be two of the places to go to. However, there are also some parks which are less well-known, but which offer superb opportunities, such as Mkomazi National Park, where you have the biggest chance to spot the Rhinos.
Southern Tanzania offers a slightly more laid back style of safari, and Nyerere National Park also offers the opportunity of a boating safari.
