Wink BVerified Our Trip to Tarangire, Ndutu, and Serengeti in Tanzania Review of Our Trip to Tarangire, Ndutu, and Serengeti in TanzaniaUnforgettable Memories in the Heart of AfricaOur recent trip to Tanzania took us on a journey through some of the most breathtaking and iconic landscapes the country has to offer: Tarangire, Ndutu, and Serengeti. This adventure turned out to be a wonderful experience, filled with awe-inspiring sights and unforgettable moments.Tarangire National ParkOur journey began at Tarangire National Park, an area renowned for its abundant elephant population and majestic baobab trees. As we entered the park, we were immediately struck by the sheer number of elephants roaming freely. These gentle giants, with their graceful movements and intricate social structures, provided us with countless photo opportunities and moments of quiet reflection. The baobab trees, with their enormous trunks and unique shapes, added to the park's otherworldly atmosphere. These ancient trees, often referred to as the "upside-down trees" due to their root-like branches, stood as silent witnesses to the passage of time. Exploring Tarangire was like stepping into a nature documentary, where every corner revealed new wonders and wildlife.Ndutu Area and the Great MigrationFrom Tarangire, we made our way to the Ndutu area in the southern part of the Serengeti ecosystem. It was here that we had the privilege of witnessing one of nature's most spectacular events: the Great Migration. During our visit, the wildebeests were in the Ndutu area, and it was calving season. Seeing the vast herds of wildebeests and their newborns was a sight that will forever be etched in our memories. The Ndutu area, with its open plains and scattered acacia trees, provided the perfect backdrop for this incredible natural phenomenon. We watched in awe as thousands of wildebeests moved in unison, their young ones struggling to keep up with the herd. It was a powerful reminder of the cycles of life and the resilience of these animals.Serengeti National ParkOur journey continued to the iconic Serengeti National Park, a name synonymous with African wildlife and endless plains. The Serengeti did not disappoint. The vastness of the landscape, dotted with acacia trees and teeming with wildlife, was a sight to behold. We encountered lions lounging in the shade, giraffes gracefully grazing, and cheetahs on the hunt. One of the highlights of our Serengeti experience was the expertise of our guide. His extensive knowledge of the area and its inhabitants added tremendous value to our trip. He was not only a skilled tracker, but his ability to share insights into animal behavior and ecology enriched our understanding and appreciation of the Serengeti.A Guide's Support in Times of NeedIn addition to his guiding skills, our guide provided invaluable assistance when we encountered a medical issue. His prompt and efficient help ensured that we could continue our adventure for as far as posible. It was a testament to the importance of having a knowledgeable and caring guide, who can handle unexpected situations with professionalism and empathy.Memories for a LifetimeOur trip to Tarangire, Ndutu, and Serengeti in Tanzania was truly a unforgettable experience. The diverse landscapes, the incredible wildlife, and the moments of pure wonder will stay with us forever. From the elephants and baobabs of Tarangire to the calving wildebeests of Ndutu and the vast plains of the Serengeti, every moment was filled with beauty and awe.We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to explore these remarkable places and for the memories we created along the way. This journey has left an indelible mark on our hearts, and we will cherish it always.Wink Blomsma HennieVerified Grandiose It was the 4th time we travelled with Ajubatus. But this time they have outdone themselves. What a service. They think along with everything and adjust your schedule on the spot. Do you only want a morning drive or just an evening drive or a drive with lunchbox all day, it is all possible. Nothing is too much. Arriving at Kilimanjaro, the driver (in our case Basili) is already waiting for you to drive to the first lodge. The lodges were excellent and the meals simple but excellent. Unfortunately the second day had an accident and wrist broken. Nothing was too much for Basili to make sure I was in as little pain as possible. In the evening I got a doctor and the next day I was taken to Maasai hospital where they fixed my wrist so good and so bad gong. Basili started driving extra carefully around all the bumps and potholes to ease my pain. GRANDIOOS. And then home again. The agent in the Netherlands had arranged for us to get off the plane last and there were people to help us with the carry-on luggage. With transportation to customs and help with the suitcases off the belt. On to the arrivals hall where the agent (Marjolein Dekkers of Ajubatus) are waiting for us to help us get the car from P3 to the arrivals hall and all luggage loaded into the car. Where can you find such a travel agency? This is service at its best. Can recommend anyone who wants to go on safari to book a trip with Ajubatus. Thanks again to Ajubatus, Basili, Marjoram and Pim. Marjolein DVerified An extraordinary adventure with Ajubatus Safaris! In January-February of 2025, my husband and I did a private safari with Ajubatus Safaris, a great Tanzanian company. The safari was nothing short of extraordinary. We spent nearly three weeks traveling through Tanzania, and everything was so well organized. From start to finish, everything ran smoothly. This gave us the opportunity to fully enjoy the beauty of the country. The team at Ajubatus Safaris is truly exceptional. Their knowledge of nature and wildlife is impressive, and they go not just the extra mile, but extra miles to ensure their guests have an unforgettable experience. Every detail was carefully planned, and their passion for wildlife and conservation made the journey even more special. Our adventure took us to some great locations:- Mkomazi National Park – A hidden gem and an absolute must-visit.- Tarangire National Park – Stunning landscapes and incredible wildlife.- Ndutu Area – A magical place, where we witnessed countless young wildebeest, which was absolutely adorable.- Gombe National Park – With a partner company, we trekked to see the chimpanzees, a truly unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for a safari company that delivers excellence, passion, and personalized service, I can highly recommend Ajubatus Safaris. No need to look any further. Jan DVerified An impressive and beautiful 12 days safari in Tanzania We came into contact with Ajubatus Safaris through the Verre Reizen Beurs in The Hague, The Netherlands. The contact with the Dutch contact person there, Marjolein Dekker, was very pleasant. Then we booked a 12 day safari in the second half of August 2024 with Ajubatus Safaris.During the preparation we had regular email contact with Basili, the guide and Marjolein, which we found very pleasant. The safari was very impressive and left a lasting memory with us!We saw more than we expected, including the big five and the wildebeest crossing, of course (although that is certainly not a given). The enormous knowledge, expertise and driving skills of Basili our guide, as well as his friendly personality, have had great added value. Nothing was too much for him to give us an unforgettable experience. In the five national parks we visited, we were deeply impressed by the beauty and grandeur of nature, with its flora and fauna. If you are considering a safari to Tanzania, we can highly recommend Ajubatus Safaris! Wink BVerified A very educational Safari in Tanzania. Our guide Basili took us on a trip to Lake Manyara, Western/central Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. He is extremely knowlegdeable about wildlife wich was a major attribute to our safari holliday. He is flexible to adjust activities to our wishes and if there is a problem he will solve it for you. We saw the big five and the ugly five (who we learned to love just as much). And of course many more animals, it is amazing how much you can see and photograph in a day. My favorites are the Cheetah and the buffalo. We will go again soon to see the new calves of the wildebeast in februari, but of course we only want to go with Ajubatus and guide Basili. Tore SVerified An unforgettable and beautiful excursion in Tanzania We've booked with Ajubatus Safaris through a friend of ours who has been on a day safari with Basili. The people at Ajubatus planned a tour of multiple national parks through Tanzania. Not only did we see a lot of wildlife throughout our Safaris but our guide, Basili, has taught us a great deal about all the possible animals in the parks.Due to his knowledge and eagle eyes we've seen just about any animal we could've probably wanted to see.To end the safari Ajubatus has provided a relaxing stay in Zanzibar to end our vacation. We went to Stone Town, a sup tour through the mangroves and even took some kiting lessons. In short: if you want to book a trip to Tanzania, you can't go wrong with Ajubatus Safaris.Tore & Ruth Vriendtje1962Verified Unforgettable journey with Ajubatis Safaris. We got in contact with Ajubatus Safaris, thanks to a friend that did also a safari some years ago with Ajubatus Safari. Marjolein and Basili set up a program together with us. A visit to Arusha, Materuni Waterfall and visit to coffee farm, Tarangire National park where we saw lions, cheetah, Lake Manyara National park, Ngorongoro Crater with lions, rhino, zebras. And Serengeti from south to north, sleeping in tented camps with a view of the great migration of zebras and wilde beast. All of our 12 days safari were brilliant, each park is different, different wildlife, different nature, ... And our guide Basili was finding always the right spot to find the wildlife ... And he has a lot of knowledge and experience of the animals and nature that he gently shared with us. tjhe last 4 days we did a stop over in Zanzibar. Nice to visit, but completely different than the continent.Really if you want to visit Tanzania, you have certainly to contact Ajubatus Safaris, and they will make you an unforgettable travel at your wishes.Rudy, Siska, Tore, Ruth HennieVerified Beautiful memories 11 days on safari with Ajubatus Safaris. What an experience. Made so many beautiful memories. Beautiful landscapes and amazing animals. Driver and guide Basili was fantastic. Good guidance during the game drives. His knowledge of nature and animals is overwhelming. I absolutely recommend Ajubatus for a wonderful safari and as there slogan says "memories for a live time" is certainly true. Mihai Florin RVerified One of the best experiences ever Basilis knows everything about safaris and wildlife. Even though November is not a very good month for safaris, he managed to show all the five big ones and four of the five ugly ones. We stayed in pleasant bungalows, but also in tents - the most incredible and valuable African experience. We would repeat the experience, may be in the dry season, to be able to compare Mihaela RVerified Lifetime experience in Africa - Tanzania I went on a safari in November 2023, and I had the joy of witnessing a green and tranquil Africa. Our itinerary was very well-organized, the food was delightful, and the experiences were unique. What I liked the most? I loved Ngorongoro and the view from above the crater, sunny afternoons in Serengeti, where the sky meets the land, creating a spectacular display of shadow and light. I enjoyed the grass-level experience of staying in the Serengeti bushes, listening to the sounds of nature and animals up close.I appreciated having Basil with us, and I don't think we could have had a more knowledgeable guide - his understanding of animal behavior and his eagle eyes helped us see everything there was to see and better comprehend the dynamics of life in Africa. If you're wondering about the food - it's excellent and safe; accommodation - you can choose from a variety of clean and secure options. And the people - just genuine smiles and a lot of hospitalityVerified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust.
